CIA Product of Tension Reduction

A praoclaiming that no doubt you've heard a good deal operational, in sports, and human performance in general is governing the controllable. What does that actually mean? I wanted to take this concept of manipulating the controllable, which is actually excellent advice incidentally, and take it out in the realm of as being a cliché and in to the realm of a thing that we can easily actually do.
In our workshops we'll use something called the CIA Model to assist students gain comprehension of this concept minimizing stress in their own personal lives. It's pretty obvious to see this model so here's the short form.
CIA stands for Control Influence Accept. All of the circumstances and situations that we find ourselves in will fall under one of these brilliant three categories. I am going to discuss them in reverse order.
Accept
There is definitely an enormous number of things in our world we simply need to accept. Weather, traffic patterns, scores and connection between games that we're not actually playing in. Influence
The second category are things that individuals influence. When you realize this, it becomes sort of confronting and sort of liberating all simultaneously. What do you do with this particular information, that the only thing that I have complete control over would be the decisions that I make?
Stop trying to control issues that you haven't any treatments for. Amazing if you ask me just how much energy people waste trying to control items that they maybe have influence over, however in many cases should just accept. I'll also say that in relation to stuff that you have zero influence over, I wouldn't spend a lot of time talking or complaining about them. It's just a drain on your energy. Are you catching yourself wanting to control stuff that you ought to just accept? Notice that, and I would change your mind on that.
When you realize how the only thing you have control over can be your decisions, be responsible for that decision-making process. I'm not saying to blame yourself when things turn out poorly. I am saying it requires responsibility for the decision that you just make. That's when you start governing the controllables and seeing the results that you just really need to see.
I don't play a whole lot of poker, more info but one thing that I have heard is the fact that winning at cards, specifically poker, has a bit to do with them that you just are dealt, and it features a huge amount to do with the method that you make decisions and play they which you're dealt.
